Jesus is the Word of God. John 1:1–3 (NJB): 1 In the beginning was the Word: the Word was with God and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things came into being, not one thing came into being except through him.
Jesus is there with the Father from the beginning and he is existing with the Father forever and ever.
How the Word of God will work in us or bear fruit in us, by hearing, reading and meditating, and in a contemplative prayer. It will bear fruit without any doubt. This is called Lectio Divina. Let us pray to our Lord to open our heart and mind to hear Him and obey Him.
