Day 4
Lord, give us your Holy Spirit
We have to mourn for God’s love towards us, as Jesus Son of God gave his own life on the Cross for our sins. The love towards our Lord should comes from our heart and it should flow with tears from our eyes tremendously and unceasingly, according to the intimacy with Him. Our prayer and meditation must be, remembering the nativity, passion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Then we get the repentance, the repentance from God. 2 Corinthians 7:9 (NJB): ‘I am glad now, not because you were made to feel distress, but because the distress that you were caused led to repentance; your distress was the kind that God approves and so you have come to no kind of harm through us.’When we repent; the Holy Spirit will start working in us. Holy Spirit will show us our hidden sins which we do not know and this will help us to grow in grace. The Holy Spirit will teach us the constancy in prayer. Ask and plead for the help from Mother Mary to learn the way of prayer, because she is the spouse of the Holy Spirit.
