Sacred Heart, Day 18

 “Place all your hope in the Sacred Heart of Jesus; it is a safe asylum; for he who trusts in God is sheltered and protected by His mercy.” (St. Bernard)

   Ps 11:7 For Yahweh is upright and loves uprightness, the honest (the truthful heart) will ever see his face. God is upright and He  likes the  upright and honest people. Lord looks into our heart, and He loves those are having the truthful and honest heart. The faith full and upright heart,  will see the face of God. Jesus pour his mercy on us every moment from his merciful heart 

Sacred Heart Day 17

“It is wrong to pass one’s time in fretting, instead of sleeping on the Heart of Jesus.” St. Therese of Lisieux

 Ps 7:10 God is a shield that protects me, saving the honest of heart. The life on earth is a battlefield and it will continue till our death. What is the battlefield; is the war between the good and evil, that is within us, in material and spiritual. Those with honest in heart will be saved 

Lord, protect us, give us the honest heart. We are very weak, give us your strength. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, truly present in Holy Eucharist, I consecrate my body and soul to be entirely one with Your Heart, being sacrificed at every instant on all the altars of the world and giving praise to the Father pleading for the coming of His Kingdom.

Sacred Heart, Day 16

‘Love overcomes, love delights, those who love the Sacred Heart rejoice.’ St Bernadette Soubirous(The visionary of Our Lady of Lourdes, Immaculate Conception)

Ps 57: 7-11 My heart is ready, God, my heart is ready; I will sing, and make music for you.  Awake, my glory, awake, lyre and harp, that I may awake the Dawn.  I will praise you among the peoples, Lord, I will make music for you among nations,  for your faithful love towers to heaven, your constancy to the clouds. Be exalted above the heavens, God! Your glory over all the earth! Psalmist is praying and he rejoice as his heart is ready to sing a new song to our Lord, God. In the morning awake ourselves to praise Him and thank Him, for all the blessing He has given to us. The love should overflow our heart and mind like a hymn of praise for our Lord and King. Once we realize the real presence of our God in our heart, we will not stop singing for Him, praising Him and glorifying Him. Remember the hymn we all know, Be exalted, Oh God, above the Heavens, let Your glory, let Your glory,  over all the earth………..

Lord, let our heart sing new songs of praises to glorify You. I will make music for You among all the nations on the earth. Lord, Your faithful love stand like towers to heaven and Your constancy beyond the clouds. 

Sacred Heart, Day 15

May the words of my mouth always find favour in you. 

   Ps 19: 12-14  But who can detect his own failings? Wash away my hidden faults. And from pride preserve your servant, never let it be my master. So shall I be above reproach, free from grave sin. May the words of my mouth always find favour, and the whispering of my heart, in your presence, Yahweh, my rock, my redeemer. It's a beautiful prayer to recite everyday. We cannot detect our own failings and faults, only God can know our hidden sins. So we should pray to God to cleanse our hidden sins. Let our words and deeds find favor in the presence of our Lord. 

Lord, wash away my hidden sins, from pride preserve me your servant. Never let the pride be my master. Lord, free me from my grave sins., which is not hidden from you. May the words of my mouth always find favor in your presence. Lord, listen to the whispering of my heart and my prayer in your presence, you are my redeemer and my rock.

Sacred Heart, Day 14

From his heart shall flow streams of living water

   Jn 7: 37-39 On the last day, the great day of the festival, Jesus stood and cried out: ‘ Let anyone who is thirsty come to me! 38 Let anyone who believes in me come and drink! As scripture says, “From  his heart shall flow streams of living water.” ’ 39 He was speaking of the Spirit which those who believed in him were to receive; for there was no Spirit as yet because Jesus had not yet been glorified. Jesus is telling whoever is thirsty come closer to him should believe in him is inviting us to drink the living water.  Here Jesus asking us to come to him, but in one condition that we should believe in him that he is Son of the Living God. The our heart will flow out with streams of the living water that is the Spirit of God. Our heart should be fill with love of Jesus, in this way we will pour out his love from our heart, that is the true evangelization. After his death and resurrection Jesus sends his Spirit to strengthen us.

Lord, give us your Spirit, let our heart flow with your love and the streams of living water. 

Sacred Heart, Day 13

 

So my heart rejoices, my soul delights in Him.  

Ps 16:8-10 I keep Yahweh before me always, for with him at my right hand, nothing can shake me.  So my heart rejoices, my soul delights, my body too will rest secure, for you will not abandon me to Sheol, you cannot allow your faithful servant to see the abyss. Let God be our friend and redeemer. We should always follow our Lord, and walk behind him as he will take care of us. When Lord is with us, our heart will rejoice and our soul will find rest in him. If He is our right hand, nothing can shake us. Here Psalmist giving praise God, He will not allow us to abandon us in Sheol or thrown into the abyss. Psalmist experience God’s presence and his wonderful company in his life and he acknowledge God is his ultimate savior.

Lord, help me to follow You, and find rest in Your Heart! 

Sacred Heart, Day 12

 

Whatever comes out of the mouth comes from heart itself

  Jesus Says: But whatever comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and it is this that makes someone unclean. 19 For from the heart come evil intentions: murder, adultery, fornication, theft, perjury, slander. 20 These are the things that make a person unclean. But eating with unwashed hands does not make anyone unclean.’ Mt 15: 18-19. Whatever comes out of the mouth comes from heart itself. When the heart is not pure and holy it makes someone unclean and out of God’s grace. Avoid all the evil intentions which Jesus explained in his own words, and this is the way can control the intentions of our heart, so keep the heart holy and pure then the springs of life will flow from it. We have to watch over our heart every-time.  All kinds of thoughts and words comes from our hearts, while controlling the hearts can control our tongue. Pr 4: 23 More than all else, keep watch over your heart, since here are the wellsprings of life. Always Keep watch over our heart, the springs of the living water is coming from those keep their heart holy and pure. Let us approach Jesus with full confidence to provide us a humble and holy heart. 

Lord, cleanse our hearts and make it pure and holy 

Sacred Heart Day 11

Mother Mary treasured and meditatated the Word of God in heart

Lk 2:19  As for Mary, she treasured all these things and pondered them in her heart. Mother Mary treasured and meditated the Word of God day night. The shepherds in the field got the message from the angel of the Lord, that Christ the Lord has born in Bethlehem for the salvation of the whole world. They all said they will go Bethlehem and see Christ where he is born. They visited the Holy family and see Jesus Christ and told Mary and Joseph what message they got from the Angel. Mother Mary was listening everything the shepherds said and did not say anything, but she kept and pondered everything in her heart. She has the heart like Jesus and we should pray to get Heart of Jesus to live as he wish.
