Precious Blood of Jesus Christ

Today is the last day of July and this month we remembered the Precious Blood of Jesus which became our salvation. Only through the Blood of Jesus we receive the redemption and we receive the remission of our sins. How blessed we are, as we have the Eternal Priest who shed his own blood for us and purchased us with His Precious Blood, which is having the highest redemptive value on earth and in Heaven. Let us thank the Heavenly Father as He brought us His only Son to be sacrificed on the Cross as a true libation as it was His heavenly plan for our salvation..

Precious Blood of Jesus, Part XXII

Jesus said, this cup is the New Covenant in my Blood.

1 Corinthians 11:23–27 (NJB): 23 For the tradition I received from the Lord and also handed on to you is that on the night he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread, 24 and after he had given thanks, he broke it, and he said, ‘This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.’ 25 And in the same way, with the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Whenever you drink it, do this as a memorial of me.’ 26 Whenever you eat this bread, then, and drink this cup, you are proclaiming the Lord’s death until he comes. 27 Therefore anyone who eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily is answerable for the body and blood of the Lord.

St Paul spoke here about the Eucharist, which Jesus established as the Eternal Covenant  which we have received as the Catholic Church Teaching and tradition  which followed by Apostles and the disciples since the resurrection of Jesus. He acquired this information from the Lord. We all believe in this tradition and henceforth by attending the Holy Mass. We join the Priest in consecrating the bread and wine, which become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. We all do this to remember Jesus' death and resurrection. He has given us his flesh, his Body, to eat and drink, and the wine becomes his Blood after the priest consecrates it. Through his Precious Blood, Jesus established the New Everlasting Covenant in eternity.

So, whenever we attend the Holy Mass and receive Holy Communion, we should examine ourselves and our unworthiness. We must reconcile with the Lord before consuming him; else, we will be held responsible for the Body and Blood of Jesus our Lord!

Precious Blood of Jesus

St Bridget of Sweden meditating on the wounds of Jesus covered from the head to foot. She prayed fervently and invoke the Precious Blood of Jesus and ask Jesus to inscribe all the wounds upon her heart.

Precious Blood of Jesus, Part XVII

The blood of Jesus, the Sacrificial Victim makes the expiation of sins

Exodus 30:10 (NJB): Once a year, Aaron will perform the rite of expiation on the horns of the altar; once a year, on the Day of Expiation, with the blood of the sacrifice for sin, he will make expiation for himself, for all your generations to come. It is especially holy for Yahweh.’ In ancient Israel, priests sacrificed animals on the altar for the remission of Israelites' sins. The priest himself performs the remission of sins by sin offering for him. All of these sacrifices represent the single sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God's only Son. Jesus had heard God the Father's voice confirming the fulfillment of His wish to make Jesus the eternal sacrifice for sin. It was fulfillment of the prophesy of Isiah. In Isaiah 6:8 (NJB): I then heard the voice of the Lord saying: ‘Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I, send me.’ Jesus tells his Father, ‘Here I am send me to fulfill Your mission’ Jesus was ready to be sacrificed for the whole humanity that was salvation Heavenly wants from Jesus, and it is fulfilled.

Precious Blood of Jesus

Lord Jesus, we humbly implore you to protect us by your Precious Blood,

Matthew 27:24–26 (NJB): So he took some water, washed his hands in front of the crowd and said, ‘I am innocent of this man’s blood. It is your concern.’ 25 And the people, every one of them, shouted back, ‘Let his blood be on us and on our children!’ 26 Then he released Barabbas for them. After having Jesus scourged he handed him over to be crucified.

When Pilate was about to pronounce his decision on Jesus, he considered not giving him the death penalty. Pilate told the Jews that he was not guilty of Jesus' blood.  But the Jews were not ready to release Jesus; instead, they wanted to kill him and crucify him. They all yelled, "Let the Blood of Jesus be on us and on our children!" The Jews were unwilling to release Jesus the innocent, yet Jesus was considered as a criminal. The Jews were responsible for Jesus' crucifixion, and he shed his Precious Blood for all humanity in order to rescue us unconditionally. The ultimate reality is that God is crucified when He is born in the flesh of His only Son.

Lord Jesus, we humbly implore you to protect us by your Precious Blood, free us from all kind of malices and wickedness of this world.

A Poem on St Mary Magdalene

St Mary Magdalene Carrying the Oil of Nard to anoint the Feet of Jesus
On 22nd July 2025

A Very Happy Feast of St Mary Magdalene

I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise continually on my lips.

Mary Magdalene

Oh Mary Magdalene, Lord has  chosen you, to see Him first after the resurrection to tell the story to his brothers (Apostles) and to the whole world without the fear.

She said: I sought but could not find him!
So I shall get up and go through the city;
In the streets and in the squares,
I shall seek my sweetheart.
I sought but could not find him!
I came upon the watchmen—those who go on their rounds in the city:
‘Have you seen my sweetheart?’
Barely had I passed them when I found my sweetheart.
I caught him, would not let him go

Jesus said to her, ‘Do not cling to me, because I have not yet ascended to the Father.

Come my bride, come to me, come closer to me,
Let my kiss enrich you with my Divine Mercy.
I’ll bring the light into your life,
Forget your own father’s house of your world.

Come to my Fathers’ house of eternal glory,
Where you can have milk and honey abundantly
The honey is sweeter than the honey of your world
No money no wealth can buy this

Come my bride, come to me and hold my hand
Come to my green pastures to give you rest
Come and drink the living water,
I give you, which flowing from my heart

I give this entire blessing; to those I loved so much,
And those who loves me with all her heart,
But you are my heart and soul,
Rest on my chest and hear my song of love

I have chosen you among all the lilies and roses
And from all that beauties of this world
But I ask you one thing, only one thing,
Will you give me your heart to make a home for me?

Note: Actually it was written while I was reading the Song of Songs many years ago, and today's reading also was from Song of Songs. Because of today is the feast of `Mary Magdalene, and thought this will be appropriate to honour her with this poem. Thank you Lord, for reminding us about your loving saint, St Mary Magdalene.

Precious Blood of Jesus, Part XIII

Anyone who eat my Body and drink my Blood has eternal life

John 6:54–56 (NJB): Anyone who does eat my flesh and drink my blood has eternal life, and I shall raise that person up on the last day. 55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me and I live in that person.

Jesus discloses the mystery of the Eucharist. He declares that whomever eats his flesh and drinks his blood will have eternal life. Chapter 6 of the Gospel of John contains the Eucharistic discourse, in which he discloses the mystery of his Body and Blood. Jesus became the only sacrifice for our salivation. God established the everlasting covenant, which was revealed to His prophets and sealed by the Blood of Jesus. He founded the Eucharist, with the Body and Blood serving as eternal aliment. Those who eat his Body and drink his Blood shall live eternally. Jesus says that when we eat his Body and drink his Blood, we live in Him, and He lives in that person forever. Jn 6: 53 (NJB)Jesus replied to them: In all truth I tell you, if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Jesus states that if we don't consume His flesh and blood, we won't have life. So Jesus offers us life when we eat and drink His Body and Blood with reverence and Godly repentance.

Precious Blood of Jesus,

Part XII

Lord, teach us to serve you in eternity. Lord, let our offering always be with humble and contrite heart.

Hebrews 9:11–14 (NJB): “But now Christ has come, as the high priest of all the blessings which were to come. He has passed through the greater, the more perfect tent, not made by human hands, that is, not of this created order; 12 and he has entered the sanctuary once and for all, taking with him not the blood of goats and bull calves, but his own blood, having won an eternal redemption. 13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkled on those who have incurred defilement, may restore their bodily purity. 14 How much more will the blood of Christ, who offered himself, blameless as he was, to God through the eternal Spirit, purify our conscience from dead actions so that we can worship the living God”. Our Lord Jesus Christ, the High Priest came to make everything new. He abolished the old law of the sacrifice of offering animals, instead created the New Covenant by offering Himself as sacrifice by shedding His own Blood. He entered the sanctuary one and for all with his own Blood and won the eternal redemption for all humanity. The sacrifices of animals, only do the restoration of impurities of human body. Jesus Christ is the one and only sacrifice, by Himself shedding His own Blood. He made it through the eternal Spirit to purify our conscience from the dead actions. Jesus made Himself available eternally in the sanctuary in Blessed Sacrament. Day and night he is living in the Tabernacle to make his presence in our midst in the humble tiny bread to purify us and make each one of us to become the sacrifice for others and this way Jesus become greater and we become the least in the Kingdom of God to glorify God the Father in Heaven. This way we are able to worship the living God.

Lord, let our offering always with humble and contrite heart.

Precious Blood of Jesus, Part X

Lord, You shed Your own Blood to expiate all kind of our sins.

Leviticus 16:15–16 (NJB): He will then slaughter the goat for the sacrifice for the sin of the people, and take its blood inside the curtain, and with this blood do as he did with the blood of the bull, sprinkling it on the mercy-seat and in front of it. 16 This is how he must perform the rite of expiation for the sanctuary for the uncleanness of the Israelites, for their acts of rebellion and all their sins. The Altar and God's Mercy Seat must be well cleansed and purified. The High Priest Aron must slaughter the goat as a sacrifice to  sprinkle the blood on the Mercy Seat. Blood has the power to expiate sins, showing God's mercy on His people. While Aron sprinkles the blood, the sanctuary will be cleansed of all forms of uncleanness caused by Israelites' sins and rebellion against God and His commands. So Jesus is the real Lamb of God who will take away the sins of the whole world. When Jesus shed his own blood on the Cross of Calvary it became the single sacrifice for the world to expiate the sins of all humanity. Sins cannot be expiated without the shedding of blood. The blood shed by Jesus will purify all who believe in him for future generations.

Lord, you bled your own blood to atone for all our sins by offering your own life as an eternal sacrifice. Lord, Purify and cleanse me with Your Precious Blood.

Precious Blood of Jesus, Part VIII
“The Blood of Christ is a fire that consumes the soul with love” St Catherine of Sienna

The Institution of the Eucharist, the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ our Lord!

Luke 22:19–20 (NJB): Then he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.’ 20 He did the same with the cup after supper, and said, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood poured out for you.  Jesus and his apostles gathered together in Upper Room to share the Passover meal together. Jesus is establishing the Eucharist now by his words, by raising the bread he said; “this is my body”, and lifting the cup of wine he said, “this is my Blood, poured out for you. Jesus made the New Covenant by shedding his own Blood on the cross in Calvary. Jesus sat together with the Apostles to share the Passover Meal, the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus was for told, he was going to sacrifice his Body on the Cross to give them the life in eternity.  Before his passion and death, he would like to reveal this most  holy sacred mystery to them ‘the Everlasting Eternal Covenant’ which was our Heavenly Fathers’ plan for the salvation of all humanity.

Precious Blood of Jesus,

Part VII

“The Blood of Christ is His sacrifice applied to us, it enters the souls of the redeemed, it is the inexhaustible source of all heroism.” St. John the Pope XXIII.

Matthew 23:34–35 (NJB): This is why—look—I am sending you prophets and wise men and scribes; some you will slaughter and crucify, some you will scourge in your synagogues and hunt from town to town; 35 and so you will draw down on yourselves the blood of every upright person that has been shed on earth, from the blood of Abel the holy to the blood of Zechariah son of Barachiah whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar. Jesus was warning the Pharisees and Scribes about their behavior and attitudes toward the Prophets, as many of them were slaughtered in the years leading up to Christ. He foresees his own condemnation, which would lead him to death. He is referring to Abel and how he was slaughtered by his own brother. He claims that has happened since the beginning of the world and concludes by mentioning Zachariah, son of Barachiah, who died. There was nothing left to say concerning the actions of Jews, particularly the Scribes and Pharisees, which went against God's design. They violated God's Words, condemning and executing His prophets and holy people.

Jesus also shed the blood on the Cross of Calvary for the salvation of whole humanity. Lord Jesus, let Your Precious Blood cleanse and purify us.

Precious Blood of Jesus

The devotion to the Precious Blood is the devotion which unveils the physical realities of the Sacred Heart. The devotion to the Sacred Heart is the figurative expression of the qualities, dispositions, and genius of the Precious Blood – only that the figure is itself a living and adorable reality.”  ~Father Frederick William Faber, The Precious Blood (1860)

9th July 2025

Precious Blood of Jesus, Part VI

“Thou hast redeemed us, O Lord, in Thy blood, out of every tribe and tongue, and people, and nation, and hast made us to our God a kingdom.” - Introit from Feast of Precious Blood in Holy Mass

Lord, you have saved us from the slavery of sins by Your Precious blood.

1 Peter 1:18–19 (NJB): For you know that the price of your ransom from the futile way of life handed down from your ancestors was paid, not in anything perishable like silver or gold,19 but in precious blood as of a blameless and spotless lamb, Christ. The Lord paid the highest payment to save us by purchasing for us His inheritance in the Kingdom of God. He paid a precious price for our salvation, which we cannot value: His own Precious Blood, poured out from His own Body and His Heart. The Old Testament and Prophets have indicated how He will shed his blood: Isaiah 50:6 (NJB): I have offered my back to those who struck me, my cheeks to those who plucked my beard; I have not turned my face away from insult and spitting. The soldiers has pierced his hands and legs as written in, Psalm 22:16–17 (NJB): A pack of dogs surrounds me, a gang of villains closing in on me as if to hack off my hands and my feet. 17 I can count every one of my bones.  A blameless and spotless Lamb, by sacrificing His own body on the Cross in Calvary. Isaiah 53:5 (NJB): 5 whereas he was being wounded for our rebellions, crushed because of our guilt; the punishment reconciling us fell on him, and we have been healed by his bruises. He poured His own Blood as a libation and went into the abyss to save the souls in purgatory, from time of Noah. Isaiah 53:10 (NJB): It was Yahweh’s good pleasure to crush him with pain; if he gives his life as a sin offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his life, and through him Yahweh’s good pleasure will be done. Heavenly Father was happy by the sacrifice of His own Son, so He can see the offspring of Jesus as he gave his life for many abundantly. His Body was incorruptible and Apostles and many other saints has seen his risen wounded body He has risen from the dead after His invaluable mission of three days in Sheol to save the souls since the time of Noah. 1 Peter 3:18–19 (NJB): Christ himself died once and for all for sins, the upright for the sake of the guilty, to lead us to God. In the body he was put to death, in the spirit he was raised to life, 19 and, in the spirit, he went to preach to the spirits in prison

Precious Blood of Jesus

Christ's side pierced by a lance, drawing blood

Part III

Precious Blood of Jesus

The chastisements of God are not yet at an end; still more sorrowful times are ahead; and divine justice will be placated by the devotion to the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ.” (St. Gaspar del Bufalo)

Precious Blood, ocean of Divine Mercy, flow upon us!

Deuteronomy 12:27 (NJB): The burnt offerings of meat and blood must be presented on the altar of Yahweh your God; whereas, in your sacrifices, the blood must be poured on the altar of Yahweh your God; the meat you yourselves may eat. Priests offered animal sacrifices in the Old Testament to atone for both their own and the people's sins. Animal sacrifices are a common way for priests of Jews to express gratitude. Following the burning offering, the priests eat the meat and shower the Alter and its other sacred items with the blood of the sacrificed. Then think about how precious the sacrifice made by Jesus, the Son of God, on the Cross of Calvary will be. For the forgiveness of our sins, He shed His Precious Blood. As Catholics, we partake in the Holy Mass Sacrifice of Jesus' flesh and blood as he shares the eternal meal of his Body and Blood with us for all eternity.

Precious Blood of Jesus (Feast Day of St Thomas Apostle)

Precious Blood of Jesus, Day 3

My Lord and my God

Happy Feast of St Thomas the Apostel to all

John 20:25–27 (NJB): So the other disciples said to him, ‘We have seen the Lord,’ but he answered, ‘Unless I can see the holes that the nails made in his hands and can put my finger into the holes they made, and unless I can put my hand into his side, I refuse to believe.’ 26 Eight days later the disciples were in the house again and Thomas was with them. The doors were closed, but Jesus came in and stood among them. ‘Peace be with you,’ he said. 27 Then he spoke to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here; look, here are my hands. Give me your hand; put it into my side. Do not be unbelieving any more but believe.’ Thomas replied, ‘My Lord and my God!’

It so happens that the Feast of St. Thomas falls during the month of July. The month of July, which is devoted to the Precious Blood of Jesus, coincides with the feast of St. Thomas.  St. Thomas questions whether Jesus rose from the dead. When Jesus showed up, he instructed him to place the finger on both his hands and his side. Blood and water seeped through the wounds where a soldier had been pierced on his side, deep into his heart. His hands and side had noticeable wounds following his resurrection.  Jesus created the New Covenant with his own blood, which he shed on the cross. St. Thomas became aware of the reality while he touched the wounds of Jesus and with a loud cry he said, My Lord and My God!

Lord, we believe, You are our Lord and God.

Precious Blood of Jesus, Part -II

‘Precious Blood, ocean of divine mercy: Flow upon us! Precious Blood, most pure offering: procure us every grace! Precious Blood, hope and refuge of sinners: Atone for us! Precious Blood, delight of holy souls: Draw us!’ Amen

– St. Catherine of Siena

Jesus' purifying Blood will qualify us to live in his presence

Hebrews 12:23–24 (NJB): You have come to God himself, the supreme Judge, and to the spirits of the upright who have been made perfect; 24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to purifying blood which pleads more insistently than Abel’s. What a blessing that God has called us to join Him. We will be in Heaven when the Supreme Judge appears. The new covenant was established there, alongside the Spirits of Righteousness, the Saints' Communion, and Jesus Christ the Mediator. How Jesus established the New Covenant with his own blood, which is worth more than Abel's. He purifies us so that we might give an oblation sacrifice. Saints are appropriate for dwelling in God's presence. They are faultless, and they were purchased with Jesus' Precious Blood, the firstborn for Jesus Christ, the throne of grace. You were bought with a great price. You were purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own. So then, honor and glorify God with your body." (1 Corinthians 6:20)

Precious Blood of Jesus

O blood of Jesus, inebriate me with the love of Jesus! O wounds of Jesus, pierce me with the love of Jesus! O death of Jesus, make me die to all love which is not for Jesus! My Jesus, I love Thee above all things; I love Thee with my whole soul; I love Thee more than I love myself. St Alphonsus Liguori.

Part I
Precious Blood of Jesus Christ

July is the month of the Precious Blood of Jesus

Most Precious Blood of Jesus: Price of our salvation,  refreshment of souls, precious dew poured out from the Wounds of Christ to soothe the torment of our weakness, to strengthen & heal us, our hope & solace, pledge of eternal life.

Matthew 26:28 (NJB): 28 for this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. The Everlasting Covenant was made when Jesus shed his own blood. Before his execution on Calvary, he enacted the mystery Eucharist while eating a meal with the apostles at the table on Passover. There is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood. That was the reason Heavenly Father gave His only Son to be sacrificed on the Cross at Calvary. We Catholics are extremely grateful for the salvation God has planned for us since the beginning of the world.

Hebrews 12:23–24 (NJB): You have come to God himself, the supreme Judge, and to the spirits of the upright who have been made perfect; 24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to purifying blood which pleads more insistently than Abel’s. Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross at Calvary established the Eternal Everlasting Covenant for all of humanity. He established the Covenant by spilling his pure Precious Blood. So, let us draw closer to him by trusting and believing in him till eternity.

Sacred Heart of Jesus

Sacred Heart, 30th June 2025

When we appeal to the throne of grace we do so through Mary, honoring God by honoring His Mother, imitating Him by exalting her, touching the most responsive chord in the sacred heart of Christ with the sweet name of Mary.”

Saint Robert Bellarmine S.J. Doctor of the Church

Lord, teach us how to love you, keep us close to your Sacred Heart.

Pr 4: 4-6 This was what he used to teach me, ‘Let your heart treasure what I have to say, keep my principles and you will live; 5 acquire wisdom, acquire understanding, never forget her, never deviate from my words. 6 Do not desert her, she will keep you safe; love her, she will watch over you. The Lord is communicating to us in these verses; if we value God's Word in our hearts and live by it, we will live. Our Lord will live in our hearts, and he will govern our thoughts and actions. Never ignore God's counsel or veer from the Holy Spirit's teachings. There is one thing, and it is a mystery: if we work hard for wisdom with Mother Mary, she will assist us in our petitions. We should not abandon her; we should cherish her because she will keep us safe and watch over us day and night. This is what Jesus asks us to accomplish.

Ps 42: 1-2As a deer yearns for running streams, so I yearn for you, my God. 2 I thirst for God, the living God; when shall I go to see the face of God? Our hearts should seek Jesus our Lord; his heart is eager to embrace us. We should have zeal for our Lord. The Psalmist is wailing and pleading with his shattered heart, asking the Lord when he would be able to see the face of God.

Lord, teach us how to love you, keep us close to your Sacred Heart. Lord, let your Mother help us in our prayers and petitions and guard our souls from all kinds of evil intentions.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus

Sacred Heart, on 29th June 2025

“Most Scared Heart of Jesus, teach me an entire forgetfulness of myself, since that the only way one can find entrance into You!” St Claude La Colombreie

Lord, let our hearts’ only aim is to fear you, and love You

Ps 86: 11-12 Teach me, Yahweh, your ways, that I may not stray from your loyalty; let my heart’s one aim be to fear your name. 12 I thank you with all my heart, Lord my God, I will glorify your name for ever. Lord, let me not stray from Your loyalty. I keep will my life always loyal to You. My only ambition is listen Your gracious Words Day and night. I will never forget to praise You, glorify You among all the people on earth. If we listen his voice His Word, He will never forsake us. He always looks into our heart whether we are close to Him.

Ps 45: 1 My heart is stirred by a noble theme, I address my poem to the king, my tongue the pen of an expert scribe. When we begin to love God and reflect on His loving and merciful heart, our hearts will flow with many topics for praising Him, and we will praise Him with beautiful hymns, and lifting our hearts and souls to Him.

The Solemnity of Sacred Heart of Jesus

Solemnity of Sacred Heart of Jesus

Feast Sacred Heart of Jesus On 27th June 2025

Jesus, meek and humble of Heart, make my heart like Yours

Jesus promise us, if we love him wholeheartedly, The Holy Trinity will come to us and make a home in us

Today is the 350th year of the apparition of Jesus to St Margarett Mary Alacoque revealing the the devotion to Sacred Heart which is ending today on 27th June 2025. Pope Pius IX declared the Feast the Sacred Heart of Jesus as an obligatory feast for the universal church in 1856, to be celebrated on the Friday after the Feast of Corpus Christi.

John 14:23 (NJB): Jesus replied:  Anyone who loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make a home in him. Jesus makes a promise to all of us: a Trinitarian blessing from above. He adds that if we love him, we will keep his Word, and that when we keep God's Word in our hearts, the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and the Heavenly Father will come and stay in us. How we must preserve God's Word in our hearts, with humility and contrition. How can we invite Jesus into our hearts? By loving him and meditating on his Word day and night. Psalm 119:148 (NJB): My eyes are awake before each watch of the night, to ponder your promise. Psalmist here says, he even awake in the watches of the night to ponder God’s Words and His promises. His promise is that he will love us, and when he loves us the Heavenly Father also will love us, and the Holy Trinity will come and abide in our heart. John 19:34 (NJB): one of the soldiers pierced his side with a lance; and immediately there came out blood and water. The Eucharist is really the Heart of Jesus broken for us.

Let us adore and worship Jesus in the Eucharist. In 2008 in Sokolka, Poland, a consecrated host the priest dropped during Communion was placed in water to dissolve, according to standard practice, and it was locked in a safe in the sacristy. A week later, the sacristan, a religious sister, checked on the host, which she discovered to have a red stain on it. The host was removed from the water and as it dried, the stain ultimately appeared to look more like a wound. It was studied and found to include myocardial, or heart, tissue that was inexplicably interwoven with the bread fibers.

‘O indescribable beauty of God most high! O pure radiance of everlasting light! O life that gives life to all life! O light that illuminates every light, and preserves in its undying splendor the myriad flames that have shone before the throne of your godhead from the dawn of time!’ St Bonaventure(Second Reading of Office Reading for today on the Feast of Solemnity of Sacred Heart of Jesus)

Sacred Heart of Jesus

Sacred Heart Of Jesus Cathedral Aka Polish Church, Tashkent

The Church is commonly known as the ‘Polish

Church,’ is a Roman Catholic church in the center of Tashkent, just

opposite Eco Park.According to the church, Christians have been

present in the territory of modern-day Uzbekistan since the 3rd century

due to the exchange of goods and ideas along the Silk Road.

Sacred Heart, 26 June, 2025

‘If Jewish High priest carried the names of the twelve tribes of Israel written on his shoulders and on his breast, how much more Christ, our High Priest, carries our names written on His Heart.’ St John of Avila

Ps 27:8 Of you my heart has said, ‘Seek his face!’ Your face, Yahweh, I seek; 9 do not turn away from me. We should beg our Lord to reveal his face, and he will. This thirst should originate from the heart by linking it with His merciful Heart. St Therese of the Child Jesus has a specific devotion to the face of Jesus, our Lord. That is why she is also called St Therese of God’s Holy Face. Many years ago, Br. Joemon gave me a Holy Scripture passage of Is. 53 to study and think on during the Lenten season. When I read this, it moved me deeply, and the image of Jesus' bleeding face flooded my heart. Later, while reading a piece from St. Therese of Lisieux's Prayers (chapters 11 and 12), I discovered that she was deeply moved by this particular chapter of Isaiah 53.

It was a coincidence for me. I was extremely moved by her devotion for Jesus Christ and her attitude towards His Holy Face, which was so simple and thoughtful. ‘They were the foundation of all her piety’. In her own words “I too, have desired to be without beauty, alone in treading the wine press, unknown to everyone” (Prayers of St Therese of Child Jesus) yes indeed! How desirably St Therese of Child Jesus out of her love towards Jesus to be crushed in the wine press for the love of Christ.

Sacred Heart of Jesus

Sacred Heart, 24th June, 2025

‘I desire to do everything in intimate union with the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.’

Pope St John XXIII

Ps 32:2 How blessed are those to whom Yahweh imputes no guilt, whose spirit harbors no deceit. How fortunate we are if God discovers no guilt in our hearts. Lord wants such kind of hearts which would be like the heart of Jesus. The evil inclinations and characteristics are contrary to the nature of God's Spirit. Those who have a blameless heart will win favor in God's presence. The Holy Spirit will reveal the Kingdom of God to us, as well as when we are imitating the Sacred Heart ofJesus.

Lord, we are piercing Your Heart with our misdeeds and all the evils of this world. Lord, please forgive our sins and purify our hearts!

Sacred Heart of Jesus

Sacred Heart, 23rd June 2025

Lord, my only desire to be closer to Your Heart, from which flows the mercy and grace

"It is altogether impossible to enumerate the heavenly gifts which devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus has poured out on the souls of the faithful"…

 Pope Pius XII

Ps 28: 7 Yahweh is my strength and my shield, in him my heart trusts. I have been helped; my body has recovered its vigour; with all my heart I thank him. Jesus is encouraging us to trust in him and keep our hearts fixed on his Sacred Heart. When we get benefits from the Lord, remember to thank him for his kind Heart, which provides us with the vitality and strength that the Psalmist has experienced. Every day, we should read and pray through several Psalms to draw closer to God. Our Lord is the shield that protects us from the evil one's flaming arrows. Be submit to Him and become closer to His Merciful Heart.

Lord, let us be closer to your Sacred Heart, from which flows the Living Water.
